St Mungo’s manages the flagship No Second Night Out scheme in London on behalf of the Greater London Authority and Bob was keen to see the work being done to help rough sleepers as part of the work he has been doing to put a Homelessness Reduction Bill through Parliament. Summer Work Experience 2016

Every year, Bob provides work experience for a small group of talented young people with an interest in politics and current affairs. The group this year had a chance to shadow Bob in his work in Harrow and to learn about all aspects of running campaigns locally. Navnat Vanik Association Janmashtami Mela

Bob stopped by the Navnat Vanik Association's Janmashtami Mela, where there were stalls selling a variety of food and drinks, fashion and beauty products, jewellery, and arts and crafts. Many local families joined in with the fun, taking part in bhajans, dances, yoga and face painting.

As a long time supporter of the Kum Kum Swaminarayan Temple in Stanmore, Bob celebrated its 3rd Anniversary by taking part in festivities on the final day of its three days of celebration. HSS Sanskriti Mahashibir 2016

Bob was pleased to attend a closing ceremony to celebrate 50 years of the HSS (Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh) UK. The event was held in the presence of RSS Chief Mohan Rao Bhagwath, RSS Joint general Secretary, Dattatreya Hosable and many other dignitaries from around the world. Seminar on Hindu Minorities of Bangladesh

In the light of the recent attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, Bob hosted a seminar in his role of Chair of All Party Parliamentary Group of British Hindus, in association with the BHBCUC UK & Europe in Parliament to discuss the issue. The Heather Murgett International Food and Costume Day

The Inclusion and Innovation Department of Bentley Wood High School organised an international food and costume day in recognition of Refugee Week and Bob was happy to attend to support the initiative. Traditional food from regions across the world, including the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, were also provided and served to the community.
